There can be a big difference between being healthy and being model thin or buffed up with muscles. The examples often shown as ideal and sexy on the screen are often some very unhealthy folks! For instance, anorexic models may be endangering their lives by not eating in order to stay thin. And body-building women are among the most likely to develop osteoporosis because they eat poultry proteins and low-carb veggies only. No room for calcium in their diets, and it takes a toll. Some people with figures we would now consider too round are actually very physically fit-and cannot reach that sexy ideal no matter how hard they try. The books and products offered here are for those wanting to reach an optimum level of health and fitness while balancing the desire to be attractive. I was intrigued by the book Eat Right For Your Type (at left), and asked my microbiologist daughter about the concept of different diets for optimal health for people of different blood types.
