There is a very special place in my heart for the forms and practise routines done in taekwondo and tai chi workouts. This is one way to stay in shape, practise self defense and look good doing it! These disciplines are ancient-and among the most effective in the world in addition to cultivating peaceful philosophy and real respect for others. My problem is wanting to collect all the colors of tai chi uniforms! Seriously, though, I've tried instruction dvd's from several sources and can highly recommend the two featured at the right here. Both feature basic chiqong exercises and cultivate proper attitude in addition to teaching movement and form. The Tai Chi Yang Long Form is the most traditional and teaches all the movements common to shorter forms as well. David Carradine's instructions are great for keeping you interested in doing Qigong exercises in several different formats as well as teaching some Chen style form movements. I use both alternately in my exercise routines.
