The umbrella of "office management" covers a lot of job descriptions! Owners, CEOs, sales managers, even receptionists can legitimately be called office managers. Running a company is a lot more than carrying out decisions made by the top brass of a corporation. Management can involve decisions at every level right down to what brand copier to use and who buys the paper clips. Human resources (hiring/firing), arrangements for office parties, and client relations can all fall to the responsibility of an office or general manager. I've managed business of my own and for others for decades, and have used Vista Print for inexpensive business cards and advertising postcards. I highly recommend them, and it's fun to use the online designer (see link at right). So easy it is SCARY! ![]() Tapestry Patterns and Kits for Counted Cross Stitch
