Ecology Soup

Don't discard the liquid from canned vegetables! Save this and scraps of meat, vegetables and rice from meals. As a quick dinner or lunch, season and heat this mixture. Chopped carrot, onion, potato and celery make great fillers (boil for about 10 minutes to cook these added raw ingredients). Add garlic salt with thyme to tickle the taste buds. Serve with crackers, bread, biscuits or fresh muffins.
