Amazing Chocolate Pudding Cake

Sift together:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 T cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Add and mix in until just smooth:
1/2 cup milk
2 T. vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla

Stir in 1 cup chopped nuts if desired. Put batter in 8" baking pan.

Mix together:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
Sprinkle evenly over batter in pan. Pour 1 3/4 cups hot water over all. Just do it-it's okay.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Pudding is at the bottom of the pan and should be spooned over cake as it is served. Serve warm, at room temperature or chilled with ice cream or whipped toppping.
